At North Brighton Medical, we offer the following appointment types:

To assist us (and in particular to help us run to schedule):

  • before booking a Standard or Long Consultation, please ensure the reason for your appointment does not fit into one of our other Appointment Types;

  • if you have several medical issues or a complex problem to discuss with your doctor, please book a Long Consultation (as you may otherwise need to book a second consultation so all issues can be fully addressed) – note that our fee structure means that you will not be out of pocket any more than you would be if you have a Standard Consultation;

  • if more than one family member needs to see a GP, ensure a separate appointment is booked for each person; and

  • please arrive for your appointment on time - if you are a new patient, please arrive 10 minutes early to complete a New Patient Registration Form (or you can complete one electronically before your appointment).

In an emergency, you should call 000, or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.

An emergency includes whenever the patient has chest pains, uncontrolled bleeding, poisoning, constant vomiting, serious breathing problems, or anything else you deem as life or limb threatening.
