If you are an existing patient, your GP may be able to issue a prescription for a medication they have issued to you previously without you needing to attend for an appointment. You can select whether you will pick it up from our reception, or that you want us to send it to a local pharmacy, or post it to you.
Click on the link below to send a request and you will receive an email confirming whether or not the request has been accepted. Note that this is only available for certain low-risk medications - many prescriptions cannot be issued without a consultation. In addition, the GP may sometimes require you to attend an appointment for a review.
Terms and conditions apply, as does a small fee - click the link for details.
Please note: if your request is urgent, consider making an appointment, as this will ensure the request is dealt with immediately. Note that we will bulk bill your appointment if all you are requesting is a repeat prescription and you don’t have any other queries for the GP, and provided the GP doesn’t need to undertake any significant checks. Of course, children aged 15 and under and pension card holders aged 65 and over are always bulk billed for appointments between 10am and 4pm weekdays.
