We have some bittersweet news to share.

After nearly eight years at North Brighton Medical, Dr Ingrid Chung will be leaving the practice this month.

While we will be very sad to see Ingrid leave NBM, we are also excited to share that she will soon be opening her own GP clinic in Cheltenham.

Friendship Square Medical is planned to open on 27 July 2026 at 89–91 Cavanagh Street, Cheltenham. The new clinic will be run in partnership with the owners of North Brighton Medical.

Dr Ingrid will finish consulting at North Brighton Medical at the end of next week in preparation of the new clinic opening. Until Friendship Square Medical is open and it’s online booking system goes live, our reception team can assist with bookings with Dr Ingrid at the new clinic.

We know many patients have built a strong and trusted relationship with Dr Ingrid over the years. If you would like to continue seeing her at Friendship Square Medical, we will do our best to make the transition as smooth as possible.

You can sign up to the Friendship Square Medical email list to receive updates about the new clinic and its opening.

You can also complete a Transfer of Records form, so that when you attend your first appointment at Friendship Square Medical, Dr Ingrid can have access to your relevant medical history.

Of course, patients who would prefer to continue attending North Brighton Medical are very welcome to do so. You can book with one of our other great GPs, and we are also hoping to welcome a new female GP to the team as soon as possible.

We are incredibly grateful for Ingrid’s contribution to North Brighton Medical almost since our beginning, and we wish her every success with this exciting new chapter.
